The Connor Group has announced its $1 million challenge grant to raise money for Dayton Children’s Hospital’s new patient tower. For every donation, we will match your donation until the $1 million goal is reached.
“It’s important we continue to provide world-class spaces at Dayton Children’s to care for our kids,” Larry Connor, managing partner of The Connor Group, said. “We are pledging $1 million but I am also asking community leaders to really think about what it means to have a world-class hospital in our back yard. I urge you to reach as deep as you can and join me with a substantial contribution. It’s an investment that can’t be beat, because it’s an investment in our children, their health and our future.”
The Reaching New Heights campaign has brought the community together to raise money for a portion of the Dayton Children’s Hospital that includes a newly designed Newborn Intensive Care Unit with new single-family rooms, the Mills Family Comprehensive Cancer and Blood Disorders Center, the Wallace Critical Care Complex, improved technology and upgraded family amenities.
The Connor Group’s donation will provide families a longue in the Mills Family Comprehensive Cancer and Blood Disorders Center. This area will be called the Connor-Dole Family Lounge.
“We are incredibly thankful to The Connor Group and its amazing support of the hospital,” Deborah A. Feldman, President and CEO of Dayton Children’s, said. “This support will help create the best spaces for providing life-saving care to our region’s most critically ill babies, children and teens. It’s this sort of commitment from the community that will take this project from good to great.”
The hospital’s goal is to raise at least $25 million for the $153 million project.
